We invite you to sponsor the 2025 Rhode Island Conservation District Conference, scheduled to take place from October 23 to 25, 2025, in Westerly, Rhode Island at Venice Restaurant and banquet facility. Hosted in coordination with Rhode Island's three Conservation Districts (Eastern, Northern, and Southern) and the Rhode Island State Conservation Committee, this statewide convening brings together farmers, foresters, aquaculture producers, municipal leaders, educators, and technical partners for three days of practical training and collaboration focused on soil and water conservation, climate resilience, and working lands and waters.
Why this conference matters
Rhode Island's Conservation Districts have served as non-regulatory, local leaders in resource conservation since 1944, aligning state, federal, and community partners to deliver technical assistance, cost-share programs, and educational services. The conference advances this mission by sharing proven practices, connecting producers to programs and funding, and strengthening cross-sector partnerships that directly benefit Rhode Island communities.
Audience and reach
• 200+ expected attendees from across Rhode Island and New England • Producers (agriculture, forestry, aquaculture), conservation professionals, municipal staff, educators, and nonprofit partners • Program sessions, field demonstrations, and an evening awards dinner recognizing leadership in conservation
